For those who are not staying at the Sappraiwan Elephant Resort & Sanctuary we encourage you to visit our individual activities with the elephants and mahouts. Reservations are requested 24-hours in advance but you may always call to see if there is space available. To make a reservation, please contact the resort's front lobby to make reservations. You can also request shuttle bus service.

Every day in the Jungle
7:00 - 8:00 am Morning Elephant Walk
What better way to start the morning than by meeting the elephants in the jungle as they get ready to begin a new day. This is a quiet time when the jungle is just waking up, the birds begin to sing and the elephants look forward to their breakfast feast. Bring along a mug of coffee or tea, and enjoy!
Note: The length of the walk may differ based on elephant behavior.
9:00 - 11:00 am Morning Elephant Safari Walk
Learn about the bonds that exist within our elephant family by observing the female herd while they graze, socialize and communicate by trumpeting, rumbling, rubbing and touching.

10:00 - 11:00 am Granny Elephant Food Preparation
Help our elephant staff make food for a special elephant. You will feed her and meet her up close! Great for those who want to learn more about elephant care and those who want an easy walk.

Combination of the two individual programs listed above.
Elephant Enrichment Prep
Weekdays: 9:00 - 10:00 am Weekends, 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Help our team set up toys and food for the elephants. Observe their playtime with an elephant guide. Perfect for families with children who prefer an easy walk. About 30 mins outdoor activity with 30 mins inside optional.

BUYING TICKET AND STARTING POINT
To purchase your ticket and begin your adventure proceed to the Sappraiwan Resort Lobby Front Desk. Here you can pay and receive your ticket. Meet with your guide ten minutes before starting time to begin.
CLOTHING
We suggest wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes to protect yourself from bushes and possible mud. Bring water, sunscreen, hat and eco-friendly bug spray, as our elephants have sensitive noses.
GUIDE & LANGUAGE
A Thai and English-speaking tour guide will accompany each tour.
Saturdays & Sundays at the Cafe
1:30 - 4:00pm Elephant Enrichment
Watch elephants interact with enrichment toys and on some days make elephant sandwiches and treats for a small donation. Great for families and small children.
Free. No reservations needed.
